SYNOPSIS

”RITUALES” is a performance essay inside the “Obituaries Of The American Dream” zine at El Museo Del Barrio show in 2021. The work is a ten step despojo (cleansing) for all bodies created during the global pandemic. Every image is a still from videos shot in Arecibo, Puerto Rico of my body actively cleansing itself of the illusions of the American Dream.
