SYNOPSIS
”Your Heart & Your Belly & Your Whole Insides Felt Empty & Wanting & Hollow / Episode 2” is the second installment of a performance depicting a dance-for-two between woman and void. Episode 2 is both a live-feed video projection and a live performance. Audiences can experience the performance from outside the mirrored room by either watching it through the 1 inch gaps between the mirrors or through the live feed video projected on a wall outside the mirrored room. A camera strapped to the performer’s body, manipulated by her movements, generates the ultimate female gaze. The 360˚ room multiplies the her reflection as well as reveals her to be entirely alone. She confronts her multiplicity as an act of intimacy with herself.
